筑波技術大学概要2018―201912障害者高等教育研究支援センター障害者高等教育研究支援センターResearch and Support Center on Higher Education for People with Disabilities近年、聴覚や視覚に障害のある人たちの大学進学が増加しています。聴覚及び視覚に障害のある学生に対する高等教育を推進するためには、障害の特性と学生の個性に即した教育内容や方法が必要です。障害者高等教育研究支援センターは障害者基礎教育研究部と障害者支援研究部を持ち、教養教育の編成と実践を行うとともに、障害補償システムの研究・開発及び障害者の能力開発に関する研究を進めています。また、学内支援にとどまらず、他大学に学ぶ聴覚及び視覚に障害のある学生に対する支援にも取り組んでいます。平成22年度に文部科学省から「障害者高等教育拠点」として認定され、全国の高等教育機関から障害学生の修学に関するさまざまなニーズに対応しています。障害者基礎教育研究部は、教養教育・専門基礎教育等の内容、カリキュラム、授業における情報保障の研究等を進めながら、障害者支援研究部や各学部と協力して授業内容の充実、授業方法の改善に取り組んでいます。障害者基礎教育研究部での目標は、「広い視野と総合的な判断力を持つ、豊かな人間性を持った学生を育てること」です。・聴覚障害教育実践部門及び視覚障害教育実践部門 主に、教養教育・専門基礎教育等の編成・実践・支援を行います。・教職課程部門 主に、障害のある学生が中学校または高等学校の教員になるために必要な教員免許状を取得するための教育とカリキュラム開発を行います。障害者支援研究部は聴覚障害部門及び視覚障害部門を持ち、最新の情報通信技術の発達を取り入れた新しい教育方法・教育機器・システムの研究・開発を行うとともに、障害に基づく学習上の困難を克服するための指導及び支援に障害者基礎教育研究部や各学部と協力して取り組んでいます。また、聴覚及び視覚障害に関する相談・支援、コミュニケーション指導、就職に関する相談・支援・指導、職域開発等も行っています。学内のみならず、他大学に学ぶ聴覚・視覚障害学生の支援活動や支援のためのネットワーク作り等も行います。・障害補償システム開発研究領域 主に、情報保障または障害補償機器やソフトウェアの研究・開発・評価、教材作成等を行います。・障害者能力開発研究領域 主に、聴覚及び視覚障害に関する相談・支援、コミュニケーションや就職に関する相談・支援・指導、職域開発等を行います。・支援交流領域 主に、他大学に学ぶ聴覚・視覚障害学生の支援及びそのための全国ネットワーク作りを行います。Recently, the number of students with hearing and/or visual disabilities enrolled in post-secondary education has been increasing. To educate these people, special educational media are required. The Center has two divisions, namely, the Division for General Education for People with Hearing and/or Visual Disabilities and the Division of Research on Support for People with Hearing and/or Visual Disabilities. The Center investigates ways to improves lessons in general education and development of materials and devices that support disabilities. Lessons for the development of communication skills and employment guidance are also provided.We offer support for students with hearing and/or visual disabilities at other universities and colleges. A national network for this support is being planned.Certified in fiscal year 2010 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as a higher education facility for persons with disabilities, we are responding to a variety of demands of the institutions of higher education nationwide with regard to learning opportunities for students with disabilities.The Division studies improvement of the contents and curricula of general education subjects and teaching methods, in cooperation with the Division of Research on Support and related departments. The aim of the Division is to enrich students with global views, the comprehensive ability to formulate decisions, and broad human perspectives.・Section for General Education Practice for People with Hearing Disability and Section for General Education Practice for People with Visual Disability This section mainly organizes, practices, and supports general education and special basic education.・Section for Teacher TrainingThe Section for Teacher Training provides education and develops curricula for students with disabilities who wish to serve as teachers in junior high or high schools. Students could then obtain teacher qualification. This Division has one section each for people with hearing and/or visual disabilities. Each section focuses on the development of assistive technology, research on ability development for people with hearing and/or visual disabilities, and the provision of support services. Based on remarkable new technologies in the field of communication, new teaching methods and devices for people with hearing and/or visual disabilities are developed in cooperation with the Division for General Education and related departments. As such, learners can conquer the learning difficulties encountered due to their disabilities. A support service is also provided for students with hearing and/or visual disabilities at other universities and colleges.・Research and Development for Assistive Technology for People with Hearing and/or Visual DisabilitiesIn this section, software and equipment for ensuring information and support for people with disabilities are researched, developed, and evaluated. Various teaching materials are also developed.・Research on Ability Development of People with Hearing and/or Visual DisabilitiesIn this section, lessons on communication skills and employment guidance are prepared, and an audiology service is also provided.・Support ServiceThe main work of this section is the coordination of services for various kinds of support for students with hearing and/or visual disabilities at other universities and colleges.障害者基礎教育研究部 Division for General Education for People with Hearing and/or Visual Disabilities障害者支援研究部 Division of Research on Support for People with Hearing and/or Visual Disabilities
